A NEW YEAR, DPLFL22 DONE = A NEW #1 IN THE DPL JANUARY NATIONAL CLUB RANKINGS
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 1, 2022) – The month of January was momumental. The ability for clubs to face off across conferences within #DPLFL22 gave a new perspective to the rankings. League Play is one thing… But when you have to play someone outside of your conference, champions are made.
We have a new #1 in Mississippi Rush after placing at #2 at the turn of the year. Their league standings carrying them through to the top.
Moves were made in Palm Beach, the perfect backdrop for teams to thrive. The biggest splash being made by Sunrise SC. A joy to watch their brand of soccer at each age group epitomized by the 2009 squad, winning all 3 games, scoring 14 and only conceding 2. One of the goals featured on our social channels as being a shining example of the quality we have in the DPL.
Louisiana TDP Elite are also on the march. Coming in at #5, their 09’s winning their bracket and the 08s showing quality in all 3 games, they left a lasting impression. Syracuse DA landed with a splash in FL. With league play slow to commence in the older age groups locally all eyes were on them in the National Event. They didn’t disappoint, with an overall record of 11-2-2. The 08, 07 & 06 teams all going 3-0 against quality opponents.

Honorable mention to clubs just missing out include; New England Surf, FC Tucson Youth, Kernow Storm, Florida United, Juventus Boston & Rhode Island Surf.
Congratulations to these clubs for a great start to 2022. With more games being played in more conferences the battle is on to stay at the top.
